Derek is an independent property Sourcer, specialising in the sale of residential and Commercial property on the Costa Del Sol, Spain.
He has done, what you are about too!!
He is a seasoned professional and been involved in property in the UK and Overseas most of his working life in selling it, building it, renovating it or Investment properties for his own portfolio. In 2005 after climbing the corporate ladder to MD at one of Scotland’s largest modular build companies Derek decided it was time to do his own thing and move to sunnier climates and a more relaxed lifestyle.
After several visits to Spain he moved lock stock and barrel to Marbella, where he bought his first overseas property near Estepona. This was his first flurry into the foreign marketplace and now he wants to share his incredible knowledge and expertise with you. Whilst living in Spain he joined leading Real Estate company Sotheby International SL, Initially in Sotogrande then moving to Puerto Banus, dealing with clients of all budgets and locations across the Costa Del Sol. In 2010 he returned to his Native Scotland then onto Jersey in the Channel Islands where he now resides when not in Sotogrande, Spain.
